Hubballi-Dharwad Police Parade 862 Rowdy-Sheeters Before Ganesh Chaturthi & Eid
Hubballi-Dharwad: In anticipation of the upcoming Ganesh Chaturthi and Eid Milad festivals, police in the Hubballi-Dharwad city limits conducted a rowdy-sheeter parade across all stations within the commissionerate to ensure public peace, safety, and law and order in the region.
According to official reports, a total of 862 rowdy-sheeters were present at various police stations during the parade. Law enforcement authorities are taking proactive measures to maintain order during the festive season.
Among those present, eight rowdy-sheeters have already been exiled from the city as part of the ongoing efforts to curb unlawful activities. Additionally, legal action has been initiated against 295 individuals, requiring them to sign bonds of good behavior.
The police have also issued warrants for 15 rowdy-sheeters, who are now under close scrutiny. Authorities have tightened their vigilance on all known offenders, issuing stern warnings to deter any participation in illegal activities that could disrupt public peace and safety.
During the parade, rowdy-sheeters were cautioned that any involvement in unlawful activities would result in strict legal action. Furthermore, officials stated that those who expressed a genuine desire to abandon their criminal past and reintegrate into mainstream society would be considered for further review and potential support in their efforts to reform.
